Start-up Week Wageningen

Start-Up Week
Live the journey of an entrepreneur from idea to investor readiness.

Start-up Week is an intensive one-week program that helps you kick-start a business idea. You will get a chance to work on selected ideas proposed by you or other participants. We will offer workshops, and you will get a chance to develop the business idea while receiving support and feedback from professionals in entrepreneurship.

At the end of the week your group gets the chance to pitch the startup and gain access to different kinds of finance sourcing. After the pitches there will also be a networking event where you’ll come in contact with possible mentors.
The winner of the pitch event will be nominated for the Young Heroes Award and gets also the opportunity to apply for a microcredit from StartHub (maximum of €10.000).

I have an idea, what can I get out of it?
First you get the chance to propose your idea. We will give intensive feedback and select all the feasible ideas. if selected you will work with a team on your idea throughout the week.

I don’t have an idea, can I still participate?
Yes of course! The startup week is about the experience of being an entrepreneur. Everyone with an idea can pitch it, and if you don’t have an idea you can just choose one you want to work on. After all, it is about working as an entrepreneurial team and gaining necessary skills. And every team only needs one idea to work with…

So all participants get from this week:

  • Lunch everyday
  • €50 of necessary course material
  • A full week with activities, coaching and mentoring to make you a better entrepreneur.
  • The experience of being an entrepreneur
  • A one year StartHub membership, starting at the first day of the Startup Week
  • A DISC test which gives you information on your personal profile.
  • And of course having a lot of fun!

After the week you get the chance to continue working on the idea, and make the startup a success.
Of course, if you wish to move on to other things it is also possible.
